Your first appointment at Elite Endodontics will include a thorough examination and consultation. Dr. Moeller will explain the reasons for your recommended treatment, and he will go over your options. The consultation will include time for questions and a conversation that addresses your concerns. In some cases, you will have the choice of undergoing your endodontic procedure the same day.

For Your Comfort

Helping you feel relaxed and comfortable during your procedure is our priority. You can be certain that a root canal performed by Dr. Moeller will not be painful. Before your procedure begins, you will be made completely numb with a local anesthetic. If you feel any pain during the procedure, Dr. Moeller will stop and administer more numbing medication.

We offer nitrous oxide upon your request. Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective form of sedation that helps you feel completely relaxed. It is often referred to as “laughing gas” because when it’s inhaled, it helps you feel very calm and almost euphoric. If nitrous oxide interests you, please ask about it during your initial consultation.

Following your procedure, you may experience soreness. In most cases, post-procedure discomfort subsides within a few days. You’ll be sent home with pain management instructions and you may be provided with a prescription for an appropriate dosage of pain medication.
